Orcs ROE for RP guilds and humans in good standing

Each guild is run by its own Gm or in our case the Warcouncil. Those people decide what is best for their guild as well as what their guild is about and all the things that go with running a guild.

In the Bloodclan that council is: Kurg'Grat, Groshnak, Azock, Grishnlock, Xugagug and Lug

When we are introduced to new guilds in the RP scene we are all about interaction and whatnot but unless some sort of mutual agreement is made we (Orc) apply the same ROE to every single guild that we interact with in the RP scene.

That rule is Loot to Disarm. Which ruffly boils down to everything but your armor. We take weapons, regs, pots, gold, aids...etc. you get the point.

We also apply different rules in war to other guilds. (ie when we are out on raids, being attacked by griefers or camping idocs and in general are out for blood)

Doing an RP event with the orcs:

If you would like to have a RP battle or set some sort of special event up we are all for it and are very active in participating in these kinds of events. However dont just show up unannounced as that might not work out very well. Usually it works out fine however dont cry on the boards when you come to have a fight with the orcs and because we have been under attack for the last hour we dont mess around with you and tell you to leave or attack on site.

If someone has a problem log into Mirc and come to the orc channel #orc and talk to an elder like myself. We are in there almost all the time especially at night and can solve many problems or address issues at that time.

But basically it all boils down to how you want to run your guild. Orcs rp more than most people think, we just dont RP the same way as you do. We are not humans and have a very fierce and close knit sense of clan. Orcs dont need anyone and while we like to "play nice" its so against our nature that it just doesnt last long.

I would suggest contacting an elder to set up events and scenarios if that is what kind of relationship you wish with the orcs.

Some basic reasons why you might get res killed:

If you try to loot your body before we are done with it, res kill. (thats our loot from the kill and not yours till we are done with it)

If you get killed in one of our raids and come back for your gear, res kill. (see above. When we are on a raid all RP rules and niceties are temporarily ceased. We dont have time to differentiate between RP'ers and normal human cannon fodder. Please do no try to interact with orcs at this time as we are in raid mode and cannot understand oomie. Oomie = clomp on site. Bluud fer da Bluudgod!)

If you come and raid our fort and do not leave when told to, res kill. (our fort does not allow humans for any reason inside. Respect when we ask you to leave our lands)

If you come to our fort and start talking smack or other inappropriate language to us. Res kill. (if you cant behave in an Rpish manner why should we treat you any different than other oomies talking smack?)

If you are respectful, polite, honor our rules in OUR fort and lands. We will heal you, often give items back, give you gates or regs to get home, let you take your belongings we don't want.

If you start crying about how we aren't rping right and "wtf were is my loot?" I will res kill you, laugh in your face and spit on your body while the shardies loot you dry. (dont be a baby and try behaving like an adult sometime)

Upgrading ROE with Bloodclan:

Humans or Rp'ers who wish to build a relationship with the orcs are encouraged to raid us.

Casting blade spirits, Meteor Swarm, Earthquake or Chain Lightning are considered griefer tactics and will not earn you any sort of favor with the orcs. We dont use those spells against anyone but griefers and expect the same respect.

Remember that when interacting with orcs as well as other RP'ers there should be a clear and definite difference between the way you play and your common run of the mill pk or griefer. The above suggestions are the basic forms of courtesy we expect from anyone who is attempting to build up a relationship with the BC other than just pvp. Good relationships dont happen overnight and only through constant interactions and contact between the BC and any other guild will we treat you as what you are. Respectable RP'ers.

Generic ROE for RP guilds in good standing

No casting of the spells: blade spirit, meteor swarm, earthquake, chain lighting. Para spamming is also severely frowned apon.

No res killing. (exceptions are possible under certain circumstances already listed)

Do not rejoin battle immediately after being killed. There should be a wait period time where your death robe is worn and you remain unarmed of several minutes or until battle stops and resumes.

Res (if you can) fallen foes after battle. (common courtesy for all rper's)

If battling other Rp'ers and a griefer or unknown comes to the fray IMMEDIATELY stop battle and join forces via cross healing and attacking these griefers. The Rp community should always stand together to kill a common foe when they present themselves.

I think that covers most of the basics of orc ROE with other guilds/humans in good standing...
